The staff were great. They were all young and enthusiastic, there was a
good energy in the place. The meals were excellent. We had breakfast
included and we ate dinner there for each of our three nights, and
looked forward to it. There was always a good crowd in for meals. It was
a fair way out of Bath but traffic in Bath is crazy and parking very

drive a short way to the free parking at the park and ride bus exchange

It was located in a quiet village, Hinton Charterhouse, approx 15minutes from Bath Spa by road. Access by local bus or taxi from Bath Spa if you don't have own vehicle. Peaceful, friendly, good food and country pub atmosphere. Access to some rooms is by stairs only. Staff very helpful to take bags up for you but if stairs is an issue you may need to ask for ground level room.

The welcome on arrival was lovely room was lovely with a nice bathroom and whole of the top floor to ourselves bedroom over looked the valley and beautiful views
The owners were friendly and very welcoming breakfast was so nice as well and you were able to help yourself to as much as you liked .

This is a very peacefull place to stay and only 5 miles away from bath ideal for visiting family and also shopping if needed -
We couldnt fault Francis and her family. Friendly, chatty and always there to help or give out directions!
Will definately recommend and would go back!
