Lo que la gente dice
I'm a 25 year old woman travelling with my 70 year old father:
Despite reading a review that the traffic outside was noisy, I thought the windows' soundproofing in our room was brilliant! I could hardly hear a thing, and normally I can't sleep with any noise at all.
Beds were SO comfy.
Sink and kettle in the room.
10 minute bus ride from the 02. (£2.40 each way.) Bus stop right outside hotel, and coming home quick and easy. Queue for the underground was GIGANTIC but we sailed right past them an. todo comentarios »
I Stayed here for a night while seeing a concert at the 02. It's so easy to find and is just a 30 second walk from Charlton train station, you can't miss it.There is also a bus stop just outside with buses running to and from the 02 every 10 mins for just £2.40. The room itself was basic, but had all you need for the night. I stayed in a single and the bed was comfy, it had a tv and tea/coffee making facilities. It was very clean and all you need really. The staff in the hotel and the bar were .
This was our first visit to London. We were looking for a place at a relatively low price, good location/nice area, close to a bus stop/train station and O2 Arena. And guess what - The Antigallican hotel turned out to be just the place we needed. We got a small, quiet and very cosy room (№ 18) with a private bathroom at a very good price. It takes 15 min by National rail (Charlton Station is 150 m away) to get to London Bridge Station and 10 min by bus (bus stop is 100 m away) to O2 Arena. We s.
Just the job for what we wanted.
Location was great for the Simple Minds concert at the O2 arena.
Bus stop 2 mins away , train station 1 minute away.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
This hotel is ideal for a one night stay for the O2 if you dont want to pay over the odds in London. No frills - you get what you pay for.
Also if you dont like noisy crowds , make sure Charlton Athletic are not at home when you stay as it is a main drinking pub for footy fans with the ground only a stones throw aw.
I liked everything about it, when we arrived to the hotel, we were
concern a little about the location but it turned out to be excellent!!
The gentleman at the reception (night time 21/06/13) was a
really nice guy and made sure we were comfortable, also, he was very
helpful giving us all the information to move around London
(transportation, places to visit, etc..). I would definitely stay at
this hotel again if one day I would return to London.
- Great Location
- Great Price
- Great staff.
Nice for the price. Clean and friendly. Comfy beds and black out blinds. Bus stops right outside the door for the 02 arena just a 5 min ride away. Train station just across the road and just a few stops to the underground. Kebab shop just around the corner and off licence. Car park is a canny hike but has a place right by to pull in and unload the car before you go park it. Great value for money. Also has a private court yard for us smokers.
How close it was to the train station which made it easy to get into the city. Also extremely good for getting to the O2 just a 10 min bus ride away, and the bus stop is outside the hotel. The location is fab. The staff were very helpful and friendly and advised us what bus numbers we needed to get. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good value for money.
Great location for a night at the 02 arena, and good value for money for London. Yes it's a litte out the way, but a 10minute train journey and your around the main attractions! Staff are lovely, the rooms are basic but for the money you can't ask for more, and if your like us you just want somewhere to lay your head after experiencing London it's ideal.
it was clean, well decorated and conveient for the 02, bus stop was right opposite, at reception the man was very good he gave us a taxi number and nos of the buses to catch to the 02 also wrote down the door codes for us, also we had plenty of tea milk and coffee and was even asked if we needed more, all in all it was an enjoyable stay.
I chose the hotel for its proximity to the London marathon start, for which is was perfect, and at a great price. There is not much else in the area, but Greenwich is only a 20 min walk or 4min bus ride away. My room was in the courtyard bit, very nice and pretty quiet.
The hotel was good. The room was fairly decent, for the price I paid. The bar was good too. I would definitely recommend anyone who would be going to the 02, especially and need a hotel to crash.
it smelled clean. obviously it looked clean but it smelled lovely and fresh. staff were friendly and helpful. he even gave us directions and bus numbers to get to our destination of the O2.
Location and ease of travel. Charlton train station and buses for the O2 on the other side of the road. size of room and good facilities. Excellent staff. Parking located nearby.
Nice simple hotel, few bus stops from Greenwich station and next to trainstop. Easy to reach from City airport. Very nice common kitchen with great view on topfloor.
the staff were very friendly, made you feel welcome, the room was basic, but for 1 night it is good value for money, i have booked again to stay in the same hotel.
Enjoyed an overnight stay and very pleased with experience. Helpful staff and comfortable quarters. Surprisingly quiet considering main road location.
The staff were lovely and accommodated out every need the beds were lovely and comfortable me and my friend had a really good sleep.
Excellent location next to rail station and bus stop easy access to London and O2. Friendly knowledgable staff. Easy to find.
Good clean room, handy for rail station buses and close to O2 and underground.
staff friendly and helpfull.
Good value.
Very good service, comfortable bed, big room for little money. Right next to the trainstation and bus stop.
Where it was and the parking in surrounding areas. The pub next door was fun and drinks were reasonable.
location to the venue O2 excelant ,rail way station very close by , room was clean and plenty of coffee.
Train station right outside, Lovely pub next door, nice restraunts close by.
Nice staff, Nice room .
Brilliant location if you like us were heading to the 02.
Clean & friendly , helpful staff.
the hotel was clean, the room was enormous, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment to use.
really close to the o2 opposite Charlton station 24hr bus from o2 back to hotel real value.
The room was lovely and warm, showers were Excellant and the location
was great for us.
Good location, cleanliness and proximity to station and nearby pub and restaurants.
Good location, 5 min ride to O2, room was clean and had everything we required.
Excellent location with parking nearby. Not the Ritz but a comfortable room.
- close to The Valley :-)
- Friendly staff
- close to public transport.
Cleaning staff lovely and helpful quiet room and nice little extras.
Reception staff were friendly and was right near the rail station.
On the bus route to the O2, also near to train station. Room okay.
The hotel location
The room
The security of 2 doors with passwords.
Great location for the o2 arena.
Great transport links.
Clean.
Room was clean, nice decor. Cheap as chips, would stay again.
Served the purpose. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bed was comfortable and the in-room sink was a plus.
Located very near station - clean room - helpful staff.
Simplicity and location very near to O2 arena perfect.
Excellent value for money good location for the 02.
The room was clean and warm the pub and billiards.
it was very clean and great size room for family.
Great location for the o2 and Greenwich area.
Very good location. Nice clean comfortable.
Fantastic if your staying at the 02.
Polite staff basic but clean.
The room was a good size.
Easy access to 02 arena.
Shared bathroom was expected as I had booked a room with 'shared bathroom', however the water was too cold to shower. Ladies' bathroom showers were nice and hot, but it would be good if the showers in the ladies' bathroom had shower curtains so I didn't feel so exposed with the frosted-glass shower door.
No breakfast.
Main road can be noisy.
The noise from the traffic outside the room. Coming from Norfolk I wasn't use to noise all night! But that can't be helped.
My only negative point would be that the shower was a bit dodgy, but I was only freshening up before a night out so it was nothing really!.
There was nothing we didnt like my friends and I were very impressed for the cost and will definately use it again when going to the 02.
The bar does not serve food.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this hotel given the money that we had paid. It exceded our expectations.
i felt there should be more in the room, for instance a toaster, as there is not a resturant on site. leaving the hotel early because of buying breakfast out of the hotel seemed a waste to myself and my teenage daughter.
The carpets throughout the hotel weren't the cleanest the bathroom could have also done with a good clean or having an on suite bathroom instead of a shared bathroom would have been better.
On busy road noisy at night if light sleeper.
no breakfast.
bar could do with a spruce up,but probably great for the Locals.
Cold room, possible that the windows are not isolated enough. Bathrooms to far away and no sink in the bathroom by the stairs.
The pub doesnt sell food. Not too much of a problem as o2 is £5 taxi ride and takeaways local.
floor boards were creacky and walls a bit thin . The first impression of entry and reception was poor.
It was what we was expecting so nothing to dislike.
it was a little noisy from the main road, but as we are not used to roadnoise we probably noticed it more.
The room didn't have a fridge.
Location of plug-sockets in room was only at foot of bed and not next to coffee-table, thus making it difficult to make a cup of tea/coffee.
Nothing.
1st thing in the morning got woke up by a wake up alarm then the tv from the next room.
The entrance was not welcoming and needed a coat of paint. The pub underneath is not a good a good advert for the Hotel its in need of modernisation.
Not as close to a tube line as wanted.
No hair dryer, bed was a little too low for my own liking.
Right under our room there were always smokers so we had to keep our window closed. The street noise was also very loud! The bathroom/shower was on a floor below ours which was inconvenient and it was hostel style where you have to push a button every 2 seconds to get water.
The bathroom was cold but had unlimited hot water and it was clean.
location was a 45 min walk from o2..i have RA so this was a struggle.
pub was a bit run down with a small unpleasant toilet.
Shower was abit poor in the morning.
not within walking of 02.
Nothing.
