Hotel owners and staff were friendly and helpful, room was small but comfortable. easily accessable, quiet, friendly, warm, pleasant atmosphere. location and the wellcome was 1st class. The friendly service and warm welcome. The room was quiet, away from the road and traffic noise.it was clean through out and fwe made to feel very much at home due to staff welcome. the red wine. Rick was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is perfectly situated, rooms comfortable and quaint. food excellent. The staff were very friendly, and we all felt very wecome, however we only stayed over night. nice room, seperate outdoor entrance, friendly staff. the staff !. Staff were pleasant and friendly and quick to sort things like missingkettles and internet use etc.Lack of parking - pay and display only down the road, and we got a fine for overnight parking. The lack of parking is a problem although a small pay and display car park is close by, at £2 a day it's reasonable. No wheelchair facilities yet.not really. Only that our room was slightly cold and adjusting the raditors made no difference. However it was not cold enough to complain otherwise would have had to say.door handles too close to wall. If anything it was a little bit cold in the sitting room and bedrooms.heating only kept in the bedroom, was chilly running to the bathroom!! could have been a problem for parking during peak times but we were OK. En suite shower room was very small...more like a cupboard. There wasmould in the shower and on the wall. The extractor fan did not work...They had another fan on order, apparently, but it had not arrived. Thesecond room had a faulty toilet which leaked. When this was pointed outthe staff gave us a new room.
