  Fine old building with lots of character, pleasant dining room & bars, some interesting old prints/paintings. Food was good.Completely comfortable - friendly, helpful staff. Our family room was light and airy, with windows on two sides.Situated close to the excellent Richard Garret museum of mechanical engineering, and the Aldeburgh coast. Excellent situation, 8 minutes drive from Snape Maltings and near the coast. Easy parking. HUge rooms with comfortable beds and lashings of hot water. Fantastic coffee!

  The location is very good and the staff were very helpful. All in all I had a very pleasant stay - Beautiful quite area, and wonderful walks.
