  The whole experience - the setting of the hotel in a historical village, the old building itself sympathetically decorated and furnished, but particularly the attentiveness and polite friendliness of staff. It was a Pearl Wedding celebration and the staff made it really special - a great place to be pampered and relax.   The staff were helpful and friendy,we ate both lunch and dinner at the holtel and the quality on both occassions was superb. - very friendly and helpful staff
