There were excellent facilities at the hotel (swimming pool, games area etc) and plenty to keep our children occupied. The rooms were very clean and well serviced and the hotel is in a great location, near to Torquay town and beach, but in a quiet area. -

Jo and Will were very accommodating and couldn't have been morewelcoming. We were greeted and brought a tray of tea and cake, our roomwas very well equipped and comfortable. The Briarfields was extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and welcoming and made you feel very at ease. There was also a vast selection for breakfast cooked to perfection and the hosts were very accommodating with special requests. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Briarfields if you are planning a stay in Torquay.
