  Great location and convenient for pubs cafes, shops and sight seeing. Our room situated at the back was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Very helpful and cheerful receptionists. The fire-alarm went off on one occasion, firemen turned up and declared it as a false alarm, at least we felt safe.   We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. I believe it's only around 1 year old and this is evident in the decor of the hotel and the cleanliness - the rooms were immaculate! They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. A little bit pricey but for a stay during the Festival it was fairly priced compared to other optio
