The Ivy Mount guest house was booked at the last minute, as I normally stay in the larger well known city centre hotels. However the experience of staying at the “Ivy Mount” has totally change my future accommodation requirements. Paul is exceptionally welcoming and friendly, I know it sounds cliché but it really was like being a part of the family. The facilities were good, very clean and it was great value for money. I liked the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of a country house style hotel. For a woman travelling alone I liked the security of no long corridors and felt secure. Room I stayed in had a digital TV with many channels which I didn't expect to have. Hotel had a nice atmosphere and character. Very clean and tidy throughout. Would stay again if I was in the area.
