The staff were fantastic, the hotel is also dog friendly which is a huge bonus and the breakfast is of a very good standard.

El ambiente del Pub - The room was very clean, and the bed linens immaculate. The bathroom was also the cleanest we found. We loved staying at the Mariners. - Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, staff at breakfast were exceptionally nice. I took 2 small dogs which were very welcome.

Beautiful room, very comfortable ( best sleep I had on my whole trip). They were exceptionally friendly, they did everything they could to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was excellent. The house was beautiful and very nicely decorated. They made me a packed lunch as I was at a course all day. The rooms were very comfortable and had beautiful views. I would recommend this guest house to everyone, I would even suggest going on a holiday/break just to stay here!!

I asked them if there were any motorbike shops in the area (was raining like crazy and my and my partner had no overalls!), they found one in the yellow pages and even rang them to ask if they had them before telling me they had found. The room was lovely (No.9), breakfast. All was perfect.

Steve and Vicky are very hospitable owners and personaly very nice people. One can feel they put their hert into this their work. They helped us a lot long before our travel by answering our questions (best choice of the Lakes tour, walking paths, arrival to WIndermere etc.)

Ideally located between Bowness and Windermere. 10-15 minutes stroll either way. Steve and Vicky are the friendliest B n B people that we have met (stayed in over 12 other B n Bs). Invergarry is such a welcoming place. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed in a small double but this was a reasonable size for a couple of nights and didn't feel small. Breakfast was delicious - homemade muesli, jam and marmalade. Best breakfast that we have had in a B N B. Really lovely touches in the rooms -

It couldn't have been better! Barbara and Chris are perfectionists in all they do. We stayed in a family room with our 2 pets which was perfect for us. Loved the decor and especially the nice touches of bone china teacups in the room. The welcoming sherry was perfect. A short walk into Winderemere to restaurants,
And a quick car trip to Bowness to other water activities. Did not use the spa but it was nice to know it was there. Would definitely return and Chris says he's converting family rooms

This was a lovely B&B with very welcoming, courteous owners. Breakfast was exceptional, as was the value. The view from our room was stunning. A very short taxi in to Bowness made it a great location, close to restaurants but in a peaceful setting. I would stay there again without hesitation. -

Lovely country inn with a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The public areas have a local, historic feel e.g. the downstairs bar still has the old stalls from horse drawn days; charming. The staff are friendly and efficient, the bar has a great selection of local beers and ales and the food is superb. Our room, while small, was extremely well appointed and comfortable, excellent en suite facilities with a super powerful shower, bliss.

Excellent location. The apartment was very well equiped and the ownermade us feel very welcome. We were greeted by a very friendly man who couldn't do enough for us. He allowed us into our room much earlier than usual as we wanted to get ready for a wedding nearby. The room was lovely, clean and had all the necessary bits and bobs we needed (including a hand-held magnifying mirror!).
Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was light and clean.

A lovely inn with good, clean rooms and a good sized ensuite bathroom ..and, at times, a working TV... sinceours didn't work!. However, everybody pulled out all the stops to get the TV in working order; alas, it was not to be. We were offered free drinks as compensation in the pub, which we appreciated very much. Other than this amusing story, we had a great time in this lovely place and would definitely go back!
