Friendly staff & room (No,10) was clean, bright & comfortable with nice touches to enhance its ambience (sweets, tea/coffee & cushions on the bed). Room overlooked a shrubbery & had benefit of afternoon sun.Bathroom was excellent. Good choice at breakfast. Good location within walking distance from shopping area & restaurants. Perfect location, close to centre of town. Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and had all I needed, the house itself is a beautiful old Edinburgh town house. Fantastic breakfast and I look forward to staying again for my next great night out in the big Toun!

We arrived with our son who is wheelchair bound , and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She even sent his breakfast up to him on a tray!!! FANTASTIC....The building couldnt have been more central!! All in all, a fantastic budget place to stay in Edinburgh. The owner should be very proud , they do a fantastic job, we loved our stay here.

Morag (the owner) was VERY nice and courteous. She greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing each day and how we were enjoying Scotland. Also, her breakfast was great and always waiting. Meats, cheeses, huge croissants, choice of cereals and juices.

It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

Clean room and friendly staff. Feeling like I was living with a family! honestly I didn't expect the room is big enough for ten people to live in, since we only had three people. Marvellous! I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.

The room was spacious and well furnished. We had a street facing room but the noise wasn't bad at all. You are given keys to the front door and your room on arrival so you aren't restricted by times.
