There is a rowing boat for those who wish to explore this - One of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed at. The service is attentive but unobtrusive. The accommodation is posh yet homely. The food was savoury. Lots of areas for relaxation: the lounge with a fireplace and the library. Also, the nearby area is stunningly beautiful and allows safe and scenic hiking. Needless to say the whole setting is absolutely breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If we are ever in Scotland again, we would definitely like to come back. PS We weren’

  Warm, friendly cottage with delicious breakfasts made to your order. Small room but very comfortable and relaxing. We drove out to explore the countryside daily. We arrived late but were welcomed heartily. - The room was lovely and really comfy. Breakfast was excellent and we had lots of options. We had the stay we always dreamt of!

  John and Joan were gracious hosts, and make a great breakfast! We only stayed for one night, but loved the quiet and peacefulness of the farm. The grounds and room were immaculately maintained. We arrived two hours later than agreed check-in time due to adverse wether conditions, but the landlord kindly welcomed us. It was 11 pm! the breakfast was wonderful, the FREE RANGE EGG is a MUST TRY! It is REAL free range that you will never find similar quality in any supermarkets.
