  Hambleden village is absolutely beautiful and is just 4 miles from Henley, so is convenient for either the quiet countryside or the more lively atmosphere of town. The Stag and Huntsman Inn is full of character, the staff are very attentive, the food is very good and our room was lovely, spotlessly clean with complimentary shampoo etc. There was p... lo que la gente dice » lenty of choice of teas, coffee, drinking chocolate, still and sparkling water and biscuits in our room. Will be back some time in the future - We received a warm welcome from Dan and the rest of the staff that we encountered on our one night stay. We booked a classic room and was allocated 'The Pit' which was a very pretty, clean and well presented room. Good pub food in the evening and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Highly recommended for some country style R&R!!
