Lo que la gente dice
I liked the atmoshpere of that place. Surroundings where very nice and the room was simple excellent. Cheap, yet clean and cosy. Great bathroom. Chocolate to drink and microwave down in the hall. Much better than most places in Helensburgh. One of the members of the Staff gave me a ride to the train station on the next day, so it was pleasure for me to stay in Braeholm. Of course the breakfest was also very good, served in a dining room, with a lovely see. todo comentarios »
A real find. Wonderful; building sympathetically restored. Staff friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and clearly proud of their surroundings. Our room (no. 2) was lovely, contemporary furnishings complimenting the period features very well indeed. Bathroom a little small, but, given the building's constraints, this was entirely understandable.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this social enterprise. It was a very pleasant surprise. Welcoming staff, good sized comfortable bedroom. Hot drink facilities in room. Filling breakfast set me up for the day ahead. 5 minute taxi drive to main station. Excellent value for money.
The view from the quiet room was amazing and the history of the place was very interesting. The beds were really comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean, the breakfat was plentiful and gorgeous. They even let us help ourselves to tea whilst we waited for taxi.
Good sized double room, king size bed and large en suite room with large deep bath to wallow in. Daughter's single room was also a good size although en suite was much smaller with only a shower but was adequate nonetheless.
We loved our stay there and most certainly will return. The staff are warm and friendly and so helpful. It was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very good. Wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to family and friends.
this "hotel" is run by (Dame)Aggie Weston's naval trust. Bedroom was very comfortable, with modern en suite shower. tea/coffee making facility plus tv. Excellent value/good choice breakfast. Plenty car parking.
The staff where very friendly and helpful, and the place itself is fantasic, and with great value for money, anyone considering staying in this area should deffinately take a look at this place, Excellent!!!.
Hotel reception phoned me two days prior to my stay, saying due to building work they had moved me to another local hotel. But, would cover any additional cost.
So, excelent customer service and well done.
Could not fault the staff. Made us feel most welcome. The hotel has a lot of character and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was very good. This hotel is a hidden gem and minutes drive from Loch Lomond.
The staff were incredibly helpful, and everybody was so nice and wanted to help with everything they could, facilities were also brilliant as my partner was able to get is hair it while we were there.
Excellent service with great facilities all at a great price. We stayed here before going to a wedding and they even had a hairdressers so I could have my hair done. Would definitely stay here again.
Interesting house with some history attached, great location - particularly if you're in Helensburgh to visit Hill House. Plenty of on-site parking. Fantastic staff, great brekfast. Absolute bargain.
This is a nice B&B in a large old home. This was one of the few places we stayed that did not have squeaky floors. The room was nicely furnished. The bathroom was huge. Breakfast was excellent.
the breakfast was superb and the room was more like a suites. the location was just out of town but in easy walking distance and i would not hesitate to book again at this hotel.

The shower in room 5 bathroom didn't hold the shower head up, just needs tightening I think.
Floorboards creeky, but that's the history I suppose!.

There is nothing negative about the place.
cant think of anything serious.
Honestly, there is nothing not to like about this place!.
No real problem but worth noting that the home is actually the Royal Sailors Rest - established with a temperance history - there is a no alcohol policy on-site.
There wasn't anything.

It's a bit remote from the centre of Helensburgh and the lack of pavement near the hotel does not make it walker friendly.
There was no facecloth or hair dryer in the room. Got the dryer at the front desk. Wish we could have had a room with a nicer view.
No food in evening but we were given places to go on sea front. Commodore pub was brilliant.
Our bathroom was a bit dated and our breakfast took about 35 minutes
to arrive.
