  I booked the King Room on the first floor (stairs: this is a pub after all) for only one night during my trip from London to see the Walpole/Hermitage collection at nearby Houghton Hall. The inn is situated on the main road through the village, but traffic was sporadic and did not disturb.   Nice location, easy to find, reasonable bar meal menu, cosy bar area, good breakfast choice (and plentiful). Room was clean and tidy, although furniture dated and in serious need of updating. Bathroom area spacious and clean.
