Lo que la gente dice
We stayed just one night at Plas Gwyn.
Everything about Plas Gwyn is top notch. The house has been renovated sympathetically. We stayed in "Mr Wynne Williams" room. It was comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was lovely, at a table shared with guests from the other two letting rooms. The WiFi works properly too! There is ample parking, a "must have" in Dolgellau. Plas Gwyn is in a prime location, close to the town centre. Other nice touches include bike storage and a b. todo comentarios »
The Staff are very welcoming and super friendly/helpfull. Plas Gwyn has the Cottage next to it so Self Catering is also catered for. The location is perfect for Hill Walking Backpacking Mountain Biking/Cycling and most mountain sports.Dolgellau is a quaint small town, with lots of interesting shops, and for a little more shopping its a small hop to Barmouth and the seaside. Dolgellau is right on the edge of the Cader mountain range and the mighty Snowdonia National Park.
We stayed in the one bed cottage and our friends had a double room in the main house. It was ideal for us all as we were able to cook a meal and prepare our picnic for the next day. The cottage had everything you needed and more (including herbs, spices, tea/coffee, milk etc) and was so comfy and cosy. The owners were lovely and very obliging. Would definitely return and highly recommended, thank you.
A lovely property in a beautiful place, recently refurbished to very high standards, with lovely period furnishings everywhere, alongside up-to-the minute bathroom fittings. Owners have done everything to ensure comfort of guests and make them feel most welcome, at a very reasonable price. Situated very conveniently near the centre of this attractive small town, near excellent restaurants.
What a fabulous find this little cottage was although small it was perfect for our needs and had a charm all of its own and suited our needs perfectly. We found it clean, comfortable and there was everything there you needed , home from home really. We chose this cottage as it was close to all attractions in the area cycling walking around the estuary or driving to the beach.
Wonderfully cosy, romantic and stylish (very shabby chic) cottage made for two. Log burner was awesome, whole cottage nicely warm, very well equipped kitchen, and the wifi worked which was nice. The bed was excellent, very comfortable with beautiful crisp bedding.
Being able to book for one night was a joy, and the cottage proved fantastic value for money.
Great location in fantastic little village, close to coed y brenin trail centre. Stayed in the cottage, excellent decor, very well presented and amazingly clean. Secure lock up with fully equipped workshop for your bikes Enjoyed our weekend riding and were sorry to leave.
The two young men who run the B&B were pleasant and friendly.
The house and its contents were very attractive and full of character.
The outside facilities would have been excellent in better weather.
Our bathroom was beautifully appointed.
The decor and cleanliness.
The hosts were not intrusive but ensured plenty of information was availble to plan days out. A lovely touch was the history of the house and the hosts will give a tour of the house if requested.
Plas Gwyn B&B was the perfect base for our short trip to North Wales. We were throughly pleased with the delicious breakfast, the high quality of our room and the fantastic price. We would definitely visit again.
A very special place, much more than a b&b, in a lovely village type atmosphere. There are a surprising number of restaurants and beautiful old stone buildings. Many thoughtful touches at Plas Gynne.

guest house was most tastefully furnished.
Great location, very clean and welcoming.
We loved everything there.
Comfortable. Welcoming.
Everything was perfect.
welcoming.
Being a B&B you are compelled to have an early Breakfast (Which isn't bad as the Breakfast is varied and very Good) so if you have had a Skinfull the night before and are slightly worse for wear, you wouldnt realy feel like getting up before 11am to have a full English Breakfast. But the staff will cook breakfast for you later than 11am if you ask them the night before. Other than that there are no Negative comments..
Nothing - other than a few stiff muscles after walking up Snowdon!!!!.
There was nothing to dislike.
We had to ask for wood and there was only enough for one fire (would have been nice to have lit one in the morning, just because it was there, not because it was cold!). Also, I'm not a fan of the wet room shower....had to walk through the wet to get to the loo, but it was well done given the space available.
Leaving.
We were in an attic bedroom, which would have been fine for a young couple, but was less than ideal for two 78 year olds.
I wish I had had more time to spend here. I will book this for a longer stay next time!.
Absolutely nothing!.
Minor issue with use of shower downstairs - it left the floor wet to get to the toilet. But there was another toilet upstairs.
Late check in compared to usual check in a 2pm, as we waited around till check in but had travelled early in the morning to beat traffic.
Leaving!.
Had trouble figuring out the shower the one shower head didn't seem to work.
Could only stay one night.
Very difficult to find due to the small signage and one way streets.
Nothing.
Breakfast was from 8am but we had to leave at 7.30 so didn't really
get our money's worth.
Nothing.
