Situated 15 minutes’ drive from the start of the New Forest National Park, The Inn at Cranborne is a 17th-century property which features wood burning stoves, free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. The Jurassic Coast and sandy beaches of Bournemouth can be reached in 30 minutes by car. An en suite bathroom is provided in each room at The Inn at Cranborne, with either a power shower or roll-top bath. A flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also included. A hearty full English breakfast is served in the dining room, as well as daily specials and a Sunday roast menu. Ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible, and local beers and ales are served in the bar. Cycling and walking can be enjoyed within the local area, and Cranborne Village features a variety of historic buildings.

Perfect quiet and peaceful location. Beautifully restored inside and out. Rooms were quaint, yet full of modern touches. Food fantastic, well priced. Made to feel very welcome. Staff very attentive and took interest in us. A superb stay and will return. A hidden gem. A shed-load of character, huge attention to detail, great food, perfect beer, friendly staff, comfort and remarkable value for money.

Bedrooms are better than most hotels. service was first class as was the food and the room, really cant be faulted, ps Micky the the dog was lovely. lovely tasteful and well thought out surroundings/decor, friendly staff ,very good food. That I was able to stay only the one night. The 'twin room' had 2 beds made up on a double bed. A bit too cosy for 2 large brothers. luxury double but only one bath towel between us!! Stayed 2 nights they didnt clean the room , It didnt really matter but there was soil from my shoes left from the day before. I was surprised. Pillow too fat! No specific child's menu although they were accommodating from the main menu. Room was close to crossroads which was noisy with traffic early in the morning-plus itbwas next to a bus stop at which dozens of schoolchildren were waiting for the bus-creating a lot of noise early in morning. Our room, which was one of their top rooms we were told, was rather noisy. The music (mainly the bass boom) could be heard from the bar below until 12.30 am! A little late I think for a pub / inn. Breakfast was not served till 8am, which is ok, but I needed to set of off earlier, but it was worth the delay. Nothing. the price of some of the dishes were a little too expensive e.g the steak. Food seems to be bought in from 6336 rather than fully prepared on site. dark stairs .light didn't come on until almost to the top.Breakfast could have a bit longer than 8 to 9am. Nothing. Floorboards very sweaky i.e. unable to move quietly around room.
