  The room was huge! We stayed in No.3. The shower even had a 'seat' in it!! As this was located near to reception we thought it would be noisy, it wasn't. Breakfast served from 6am, the clocks went back so our body clocks were out and we went for breakfast at 6.45am! The hot choice is limited, sausage, scrambled egg and beans only. Wonderfully clean.Great selection of toiletries. Very little noise from the roads. The air con was a fantastic extra with the summer we are having. Luxury! Breakfast was great, nice light seating area. Would use again. Thanks for a special and memorable stay.

  The room was very big (being a handicapped room probably explains that) and the bathroom was also spacious. Freeport Village is no exception. It is very modern but comfortable, and although it only caters for breakfast there is an excellent and adjacent Vintage Inn. I have now stayed there several times and it is always my first choice when visiting family in Braintree. It is undoubtedly the best in its class.

  Stayed overnight in readiness for a wedding in the area that night - ate in the hotel - went into the town for a couple of drinks amd then came back to the hotel to finish the night there and wait for late arrival of son - another guest at the hotel -(his wedding next day) - Good food
