A large ,clean, quiet room. Convenient for my visit to family and friends in the area. I was suprise that for a single room it is very large and comfortable I will ensure to book your hotel again for my next stay.room size great,top top value for money if you do not stay here you are throwing money away. Large rooms Gym Lovely friendly staff Good breakfast made to order.
todo comentarios » staff were very accomodating and room suited our needs. food was very good and the staff were very friendly. Staff were very friendly and professional. spa, swimming pool and steam room. the size of the rooms,lots of space, clean and presentable,was ideally situated for local shopping,buses etc... both receptionists we dealt with were very pleasant. Convenience and simplicity. Big, but big rooms. Staff and Food. The breakfast provided was very good. The staff were very helpful, but just not very well trained. friendly, helpful staff.Excellent breakfast. Value for money. good sized room. the price was good staff were friendly. big but basic room. good breakfast. Its a big and clean room.The welcome at the hotel was very good. Size of room (it was big).The room was a good size, car park was large and in view of the reception and so quite safe. Its location. Large rooms. Plenty of room in bathroom.No bar or restaurant ofr evening use. The hotel is obviously in the process of closing. Just somewhere to sleep for the evening.Size of the rooms - brilliant. the sporting facilities,. pool facilities and gym, room size. The sheets were clean. One of the walls didn't have damp. Rooms and reception area etc very shabby but also very cheap so only to be expected. Clean bedlinen and towels so not a problem for the price paid.pool closed too early on saturday night. the one thing that would have been nice would have been a chance to have a coffee at the bar,as opposed to just drinking this in the hotel room,. web price said breakfast included it was not !!. Decor a little dated. The beds were very uncomfortable. Mattresses very hard and lumpy. room decor a little shabby although generally clean, there was a childs handprint marks on the mirrors.Very noisy guests from 18th Birthday Celebration. a few small things not worth mentioning it was not a modern hotel so should not be compared to one but very homely and had a good atmosphere and good value for money. the bed needed putting on the scrap heap!!. Yes, room heater were not working. The bathroom doesn't have shower gel. And there is no phone inside the room to call reception or outside.Lots of litle misses made it not quote right IE hot water tap did not work. wardrobe door handle missing. TV did not have full programmes as advertised. No soap in the dispenser for the shower. Having arrived after 11 pm I could not get a beer. No secondary locks on bedroom door.room was not cleaned or made up during the two nights I stayed there, when I first got there the TV was not connected and the three spur outlets behind it were hanging off the wall,being an electrician I just connected the TV up and refixed the spurs but to anyone with young children this could have been a dangerous situation of which the staff seemed unconcerned. Very 'tired' rooms. Very poor breakfast, lukewarm and uninviting. Tookthree attempts to get the bill right. Parking can be tricky. Very muchat the lower end of the market.In need of refurbishment. Breakfast inedible!. The door hanging off its frame. cold breakfast hotel is run down. The website was incorrect, the room was very shabby, stains on the sofa bed that the children used to sleep on, no CD player or Video player, no iron or trouser press in room, Bathroom had no slip-proofing in the bath, just a piece of paper(?). We arrived at the hotel at 2am after advising the hotel and were accompanied by 2 children, the room we were shown was not made up for the kids, no towels. Rooms were dirty, had to ask for door to be repaired when arrived. Couldn't eat there as food looked awful - so went out to eat. Extremely run down and dirty. no tv control, no hi-fi or dvd player as stated. iron and hair dryer broken, had to go to another room to use these. were not made aware that a function was on! residents had no access to food or drink within hotel. the breakfast service was a shambles and the bed was so lumpy it felt 50 years old, really the rooms were in need of an update. Room was shabby, dirty, cups were stained, soap containers had not been filled, stuffy, breakfast awful, staff inexperienced, etc. Too much to mention but here are some clues: Damp on the other walls along with the smell; No heating; The bathroom door wouldn't close; Despite complaing at 2am, a party was allowed to continue in the room next door. Would I send my worst enemy here? Yes of course! But never my friends.Food, lack of amenities that were advertised. IT WAS DIRTY.

Sporting Lodge Inns is ideally situated 10 minutes from the M62 motorway, 5 minutes from Bradford City Centre, 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre and just 3 miles (5 km aprox.) from Leeds/Bradford Airport.

M62 Leeds (M60) J26 M606 Bradford, continue to end of road. At roundabout take A6177 Keighley/Valley Parade. At first roundabout straight over towards Keighley. At second roundabout turn left towards Keighley/Valley Parade. At third roundabout straight over towards Keighley/ Valley Parade. At fourth roundabout straight over towards Keighley. Get in lane for Keighley.

Continue straight through traffic lights. Stay in Keighley lane - follow A650. Then get in right hand lane at the traffic lights and take a right sign posted Eccleshill & Idle. Follow road for one and a half miles (2.4 km). At lights turn left. Follow road for one and a half miles (2.4 km). At Five Lane Ends roundabout take third exit left onto Highfield Road (Lane Ends pub on the right).
Sporting Lodge Inn is 100 yards on the left hand side.
