Just 4 minutess to A392(M) and 7 mins to M4;
Quiet area;
Friendly check-in staff;
Fridge microwave plate and cutlery in room for your warm evening meal if desired;
Well-stocked budget serve-yourself breakfast bar;
Decent décor;
Absolutely adequate but not luxury, in converted house;
Will book them again.
We did not expect to find a frig., microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdyer and plates and cups and saucers, knives and forks - all these were very welcome. It was quiet and cool (especially as the weather was very hot).
Good Location, easy access. Rooms wells equipped and clean. Good breakfast provided and the food at The Admirals Inn was superb and different. Most Impressed and would definitely use again. As a budget hotel very good.
Very good value for money going through bookings.com. Upgraded my room from single to double with en suite for free too! Nice to have fridge/ microwave/ wardrobe/ hairdryer etc provided.
Excellent Hotel from the time you check in to your last breakfast. We used it to sightsee, London, Windsor, Henley. Ascot and surrounding area.
My room was clean, warm and tidy and the facilities provided within the room were excellent.
Breakfast was served promptly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit
and would certainly recommend
your guest house to our friends.
Excellent value for money.
The rooms were lovely, felt like home from home. Very clean. Great value for money would definitely stay there again :-).
The accommodation was nice and clean. The performance/price is excellent (even more taking into account the location).
The location was very good for our needs.. Staff very good - complemented with a very good cooked breakfast..
Parking facilities, quiet and discreet, friendly environment. Easy check in and check out. 12pm check in.
Big room in good condition, comfortable bed, plenty parking. Good value for money.
The room was well kitted out with appliances and was clean.
Very good accommodation with nice facilities in the room.
Great value clean + tidy just right for a stay.
Clean, value for money. Staff helpful.
Space in my room
General cleanliness.
staff were very friendly and helpful.
B and B was inexpensive at £30 a night inclusive of breakfast.
Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and good quality.
The staff was co-operative but could not provide the room as per our bookings.
Good value for money as only £30 for the night and had all that
was necessary.
You got what you paid for.
I would stay there again if I was in the area.
Honest helpful staff, the guesthouse is quiet and close tolocal shops.
Nice and quiet , microwave and fridge if needed, and comfortable.
The staff was very kind and helpfull.
Price.
Nothing much.
Nothing.
Bottled water dispenser empty, full kettle in the room compensated for this.
The shower was difficult to enter due to one side being screwed up. The fan was not working in the shower room.
Its a budget guest house so rooms a little run down, the bathroom floor a little up and down.
Could have done with a mirror actually in the bedroom because there were no sockets in the bathroom that I could use to do my hair in front of.
There wan't anything we did not like. Net curtains at the bedroom window could improve guests
privacy.
The facility is quite old (but also that is fine if you like it).
Our only problem with our accommodation was that we were unable to turn down the heating - the radiators were very hot - which made it a little uncomfortable through the night, also you had to be careful going to the loo, as the rad. was alongside!.
Bathroom could do with refitting as it's well past its best - although to be fair it was clean and functional. Breakfast is 150m away in a separate building which can be tricky to find in the dark.
No security for cars, breakfast not continental as advertised and to get a very early limited time for breakfast in the week days not good, I think a normal breakfast should b made on weekends.
Breakfast was basic and very much help yourself.
The room wasn't cleaned during our stay and we had to ask for replacement tea/coffee and new crockery.
We were in an upstairs room, unfortunately there is access into the roof space where wildlife can get in, there is lot of noise late at night an early morning until the pidgeons, squirrels ect. settle down.
Shower - drencher
Hot water tap on bath difficult to get going!.
The lock did not work from the outside on the room door. We had to
effectively check out on the Sunday morning as we couldn't leave our
stuff unsecured and unattended. When I mentioned it to the cleaner, she
said "oh yes, that happens". Well, why hasn't it been
fixed then?.
On arrival no-one was there to let us in, we had to phone them and wait 5 mins for them to come across and let us in.
Booked a double room and on arrival was told they didn't have one so had to have a twin room.
Purchased a meal at their pub where as guests we were supposed to receive 10% off our meals but this was not given.
We were not informed about arrangements for breakfast so came across it by chance when looking for a member of staff to ask. It was self service.
Double room was unavailable as per my booking. I had to move to other room which was not comfortable.
The bathroom was mouldy and falling apart a bit, no cold water working
on bath tap so unable to have shower as was scolding hot.
The room is very old, the bed sagged and the shower was a trickle.
The matress was really old and unconfortable. I couldn't rest properly.
Arriving at hotel there was no one to greet or check us in.It was left
to another guest to let us know that we had to visit a 2nd hotel to book
in !!!! We had to prepare our own breakfast,no staff in attendancce.
Room ice cold no heating on, needed electric heatr brought over, shower
diabolical, not enough towels, no remote for tv, shower cold in morning
and made us miss breakfast.
1 - You have to phone a number to get in 2 - Staff couldn't find
reservation 3 - The fridge was very noisey 4 - The microwave was bigger
than the tv!!! 5 - The bed was broken 6 - Left in the morning with flea
bites. Would I stop again? That would be a no.
1) damp on ceilings
2) hole in wall
3) no staff on site at all.
4) shower door screwed shut so not usable.
5) room looked NOTHING LIKE the letsbookhotel.com website pictures.
