  We had a wonderful stay there. A nice pub in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely renovated room separate from the pub so very quiet and peaceful. A full English breakfast was included that was much more than we could possibly eat. Log fires, great home-cooked food, perfect setting. Very clean, fresh, well designed rooms slightly separate from main pub. Couldn't have been better. - I absolutely loved the staff, especially Simon and Ged. The place really felt like a home away from home, and I felt like a 'local' even though it was my first time there and I was travelling alone! I also tried the chili, and it was delicious.

  Beautiful setting in fabulous location. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. All the staff had smiles on their faces at all times. We particularly liked being able to eat and drink outside, both in the garden and to the front so we could watch the world and the Forrest ponies walk by. There was the choice of 2 restaurants one in hotel one in Montys, both were exellent, food delicious

Well appointed, very clean bedroom with exceptionally comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and large screen TV.
