The staff were amazing! We paid for a standard room but were given a four poster room the mattresse was memory foam so it was super comfy.. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh and we were in a great location right by the sea and amusements! The staff were friendly and helpful so all in all a fantastic hotel I would absolutely stay here again!! Xxx

Really loved the position of this B&B as it's both close to the Pleasure beach and Tower too. The seaside and trams stops are across the road. Also its very quiet at night with no hen or stag guests. The couple who run St James' are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and well equipped.Breakfast was well cooked with a choice of kippers as well as full English , good selection of cereal and plenty of toast. The owners have made a great effort in the 4 years they have had the hotel to improve the facilities and create a lovely very clean small hotel, which is in a great location on the promenade and very close to shops and resort centre, without being so close that there is any noise disturbance. The hotel also has a lift.

Mr. and Mrs. Robinson were very gracious and hospitable hosts; very friendly, kind and sincere!
The B&B was very clean and felt safe. It was only a 5 minute walk into the city centre. I stayed in a small double room, which was cosy and warm. The bathroom was clean and had a heated towel rack - the shower had hot water whenever I needed it and decent water pressure.
Breakfast was made to order, and delicious!
Overall, great value for money and a wonderful experience because of Mr. and Mrs

The owners really make you welcome, breakfast was brilliant, location was spot on, as we were a party of 8,didnt have to walk far for the Prom and bars. I cant put into words how wonderful the stay was the proprioters went beyond the normal to help me and my friends without which my birthday wouldnt have gone to plan!!! We had a nice room on the 2nd floor, nicely decorated & a great shower. The bed was reasonably comfortable. This hotel does not provide breakfast, as advertised, no problem, there is an excellent Cafe on the opposite corner (Walkers Cafe in Stow St), that provides an excellent full English for ₤3.90. Hotel is close to the beach and attractions! We managed to get free parking outside. The cost for this hotel is very reasonable.
