The owners of the hotel/guest house and their family were very friendly.
Accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable with quality toiletries in the bathroom.
There were extras in the rooms such as towelling robes, slippers, soft drinks, bottled water, crisps, biscuits, tea, coffee, (complimentary).
Nothing was too much trouble for the owner

Cannot fault this hotel. Very home from home. Set in a quiet location on the edge of a housing estate with a park/nature reserve to the side. Great owners who were very welcoming and attentive and who couldn't do enough for us. Hotel has nice touches such as the complimentary mini bar. Lovely room and good breakfast to start the day. Close to NEC,10 to 15 minutes walk to/from the local station and 4 minutes on the train to Birmingham International. Thanks again for a great stay. Will stay again

Everything! We had a fabulous welcome. We arrived early, and even though they were busy with breakfasts for other guests, we were given a pot of tea to welcome us and were allowed to check in straight away.

The owners are really kind and helpful. They even offer to pick you and even take you to the airport, train station and even the NEC. Enjoyed our stay there had a delicious breakfast and were even offered a packed lunch to take with us for our return flight. It's a homely environment with clean rooms. Suggest the place to whoever wish to stay in a quiet yet homely envirinment :)

Cercania a aearopuero y nec, y el entorno de vegetacion y latranquilidad que se respira - the hotel staff were friendly and provided a brilliant service better than many top class hotels we have stayed at in the UK and Abroad. Julie and her sister were so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived.
It was very handy for the N.E.C., with a bus stop just round the corner. The railway station has free parking, and is a short drive away, making it easy to get into town or to the exhibition/conference centre and airport.
We would visit again without hesitation..

Absolutly everything! The feature room was stunning, the bar food was delicious as was the breakfast the next morning. The staff were wonderful. The receptionist was so kind and helpful, the waiter was lovely, and the kitchen staff were so accomodating and made me alternative meals when they were low on ingridients, resourceful and delicious! The best part of the stay was the wonderful restaurant Peels. The food was wonderful , the service excellent, all presided over by James Hill - whose vision was not one of short term profit but long term success. The general good nature of all the staff seemed to mirror his vision.

A very homely, comfortable guest house. The owners, Stan and Jo are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I've a short but very pleasant stay at Joe And Stan's. It is cozy and lovely. I received friendly welcoming and the best hospitality. It was a safe place for a lone businesses woman like me. The bed was good and the breakfast was excellent. I surely will go back again next time I'll be in Birmingham. Thank you for making me feel like home.

Very welcoming and friendly Staff location was great. Room was very Comfortable and clean didn’t hear much of the pub downstairs. But we knew that it was a pub so that was to be expected and it was great. Food was great, evening meals were priced reasonable. And an excellent morning Breakfast. Would stay there again
