The cottage was beautiful the owners very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very pretty, clean and everything thought of for a guests comfort. The cottage and gardens have a lovely atmosphere to them and as a place to stay would suit many different people particularly business people, couples, solo travellers or small groups of four as there are two double rooms available to rent. The whole experience of staying at Honeycomb Cottage was a real treat. It was a far nicer than staying a. todo comentarios »
Honeycombe Cottage was an absolute joy to look at and stay in. The hosts were extremely welcoming (dog included) and the whole experience was immensely enjoyable. The location of the cottage was ideal for visiting Bovington Museum, which was the reason for our stay. Also, not many miles away, as we discovered is Lulworth Cove, such a sweet place to take a stroll around on a warm evening. We would have loved to take a look at Durdle Door, but this will have to wait for another time.

On our arrival, we were greeted by Heather, a lovely lady who immediately offered us a cup of tea after our journey. Her hospitality and warmth was to continue throughout our stay (three nights). The cottage is stunning, with all its old features and beautiful garden (tended by Heather and Duncan). Breakfast just delicious, especially the fruit salad, we felt privileged that Heather and Duncan shared their beautiful home with us and made us feel that we were at home.

Beautiful thatched cottage with stunning garden. Heather could not have been more welcoming, made us feel like old friends from the start. We enjoyed breakfast at the kitchen table with the other guests, much more friendly than the half silence you usually find in a b&b breakfast room. The room was great, comfortable bed, private shower room. We were having a short break away for my birthday and finding such fantastic accommodation was a bonus. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Heather and her family were brilliant hosts. The room was gorgeous and we just sank into the bed which had lovely linen. The tea tray was also very nice as there was a delicious hot chocolate as well as chilled water - just lots of nice details. There were also some good magazines and books out to read. The breakfast (fruit salad and muesli for me and the full english for him) was delicious!.
Heather was a joy to talk to! Had some great stories about her time in Africa too. We loved our stay, the cottage is gorgeous and is 550 years old. It felt quite special staying there. The breakfast was also lovely! I highly recommend staying at Honeycombe Cottage. There is a nearby pub, which serves lovely food too. It's a short drive to Durdle Door also, which was just stunning!.
A 550 year old thatched cottage, in beautiful garden setting. Tastefully and comfortably decorated, with privacy and everything you could need. Heather and Duncan the most welcoming of hosts, providing us with a sumptuous breakfast and great conversation. We wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to return.
Heather, our host, was so warm and welcoming. She has so many wonderful stories to tell. Our accommodation was a very airy and light twin bedroom above the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. One of the walls was taken up with a very large assortment of books. I didn't want to leave!.

Beautiful, thatched cottage. Heather could not do enough for us and tailored breakfast to our wants, even to what time we wanted it to be served. On a sunny day we even ate it outside which was lovely.
