  All of it. We stopped at Barnard Castle to celebrate birthdays on the way back from Scotland, our favorite hotel ever. Rooms lovely, ours had a big veranda, there were single en suite available for 2 of our party.   A great and unique hotel. The rooms were amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is a great base for Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the North East. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant has a good menu. Couldn't recommend the hotel enough and would definately recommend a suite if one is available. - You get what you pay for !
