Very nice Breakfast, good value for money.
Evening meal was excellent, one of the best Steak's I have had.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent location for the Ascot racecourse.

Meals were good.

The location.
Always clean and comfortable beds and nice to spend the night for the price the rooms are.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good as was the evening meal.

staff.
Staff very helpful on early check in.
Hotel and Restaurant was very Hot, room was ok providing the windows were left open.
Noisy in corridors mainly due to creaking floor boards.
Stayed in room 34 (I think), position of TV was not convenient for viewing.
Bar was understaffed. Could benefit from a little paint and tlc. Toilet paper was impractical.
Lack of parking near to room.
we found the room very hot and stuffy
It would have been nice to have had two chairs.
Bar-restaurant requires re-decorating and modernising.
1. Difficulty in finding the premises - from the Ascot direction there
is no sign visible, so telling guests in advance that it is also a
Beefeater would help
2. Alarm call was 40 minutes late!
3. Bath soap dispenser & shaving light both out of order.
Television kept losing signal.
creaky floors.
Rooms were noisy paper thin walls meant you were kept awake all night by other guests. Rooms were , too hot, bathrooms with paint pealing off the wall, slow running tap water.
And very very basic, we were in room 2 right by the bins so woken up every morning with bins being filled.
Victorian Era rooms of the main
Building are not convient these
Days.We had to request for a change of room in the single storey block, which was a lot more bright & comfortable.
Buildings both accommodation and pub in need of refurbishment.
The old tired look of accommodation in a prime location - nothing like other premier inns (Leeds) no facilities for resident late drinks.bar staff rude and more interested in local drinkers. No air conditioning in bedrooms just old fan. Despite location accommodation needs investment.
The disabled room was adequate but could be better. Why is there a
double bed in the room when a wheelchair users carer may not be related
and would need to book an extra room at extra cost .Twin beds would be
one solution.
Room decor/paint work very bad paint peeling off the walls and other areas of peeling paint, the bathroom was covered with mould and limescale/dirt in the bath.
The Hotel is in urgent need of a refurbishment, bathroom was out dated and in poor condition with black mould round the windows and on the bath, the shower was on the long side of the bath so if you were not careful the shower sprayed over the bath. The bed was comfortable & clean but the room was shabby as were the corridors and staircases. Would not stay here again.
The room was filthy, run down, damp in the bathroom and located at ground level next to the car park with lots of noise due to people coming and going.
I wouldn't stay there again.
The bathroom was scruffy and the whole place needed refurbishment. The TV stand was broken and the furniture had seen better days.
In a word it was 'grubby.' Paint peeling off windows, loads of litter on arrival in bar area and outside by tables. Tatty corridor leading to rooms, rooms not cleaned very well. Not particularly cheap or welcoming.
Dirty and stained bath
Definitely in need of some refurbishment!!.
The whole place needs a refurbishment. The bathroom was a disgrace ie stained bath and toilet was black inside. Very unsavoury.
dirty toilet very stained, dirty bath where matt once was. very tardy and sad in appearance.
The fact that at 1 minute past 11p.m. we couldn't a drink at the bar, although we were residence, it seemed to much trouble.
Mould in Bath room and damp patches in bedroom ceiling. Room very noisy as above bar and staff talking by reception area till very late, staff up early using creaking stairs right outside room.Road very busy most of the night but Hotel can't be blamed for that.
