Would highly recommend this hotel. - The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The food excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely position and grounds and although we didnt go into the club we could have booked through reception.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

We really enjoyed our stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel. Our double room was lovely, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, in particular the young lady who checked us in at the front reception desk. As we had never visited Southampton before, we had a few tourist type questions and the young lady was happy to help us and answered all of our questions. En general su servicio y atención al cliente. Exteriormente no parece un buen hotel pero sin embargo sus habitaciones, su servico de desayuno, atención al cliente, etc. superan con creces las expectativas. The hotel staff were very helpfuland answered questions promptly. I ate in the restaurant and thoroughlyenjoyed my meal. I was particulary impressed by the young girl whoserved me both times with her politeness and help. - One of the best Hotels in the UK - and I stay in a LOT of them - staff customer service really was excellent - and that was not just one or two but each and every staff member I had contact with - quite amazing in fact and no I dont work for them - I am just not used to such good service.

They phoned before we arrived to make sure we knew that the hotel was on the southbound side of the motorway otherwise we would have had to walk through the underpass to the hotel. The size of the room was excellent and was nice and warm when we arrived. -

Good value for money, can't complain about price.
However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower.

receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is
within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have
a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and
ideal for a night or two can't fault.
