  Excellent value for money. (An added bonus was its location alongside the grammar school I attended 1943-48 which I hadn't seen since then!) - We were attending a local wedding and all the staff were very helpful providing directions and information regarding the venue.

  A very welcoming hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff ( every member) Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very good value for money. - I always read reviews before booking, and I had a most enjoyable stay at a really friendly and quirky hotel, where the staff I met and dealt with were helpful, and very eager too please. I found it strange that previous reviews complained about there being no lift, and that their rooms were some way from reception - well it states that on the information page on this really interesting hotel.

  Nice hotel and good swimming pool. - very clean comfortable hotel -all hotel staff -in reception, lounge bar , restaurant and leisure area were very helpful at all times. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends

  This was the second time we have stayed here in the past 4 months. IIt is a comfortable hotel with a great location. It is very clean and suited our needs for another weekend away. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the lady on reception (whose name escapes me, sorry!)
