We stayed at lazy waves for a couple of night, The owners was great supplied information where to eat and where to visit. Breakfast was excellent and nice and fresh dining area is very cosy. the peace and quiet and fantastic view from the room, the delicious home-made granola and door-step granary toast for breakfast, nice little touches like current magazines, binoculars and beach games to borrow, the local knowledge, freshly baked cakes and friendly service provided by the proprietors

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

I cannot fault this hotel, it was well organised with helpful friendly staff, excellent facilities in the room and throughout the hotel.
The pool was warm, and clear, with perfect steam room, sauna and the bubbliest jacuzzi.
Having complimentary bath robes and slippers was delightful, and there were plenty of teas, coffee and shampoos in our room and the shower was hot and powerful. The TV worked well, and it was nice to have a table in the room to sit at for reading.

This waas the second year running that my wife and myself stayed at the Bay Hotel and will be going back next year. It's the whole surroundings and facilities that make his a great hotel - Really enjoyed staying at the Bay hotel, The staff where very friendly on arrival, the room was a nice size and very clean.. The hotel was well designed and the situation could not have been better, sat above the beach at Mawgan Porth, with spectacular views. The facilities were good and the rooms comfortable & well appointed. The food in the restaurant was expensive but delicious. Spa treatments varied but, on the whole, were value for money. -
