  Well appointed and friendly B&B, close to the city. Spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly owner and staff. An easy walk to the city centre via the main road or canal side. Just a 25 minute drive from The 'model village' of Port Sunlight and only a 10 minute drive from there to Birkenhead and the ferry to Liverpool. The room was peaceful, well appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely the best place I have stayed in Chester, so look NO further than Lavender Lodge!!

  There were two aspects of our stay at Chester's Stone Villa Guest House which I feel are particularly worthy of an especial mention. Firstly, the genuine warmth and sincerity of the owners' hospitality.
