  What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order. We found the service to be excellent, very friendly and helpful. We only had chance to eat in their restaurant once, but the food was of a good standard. The open fire in the bar is so lovely!   Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in.
