  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  El hotel está a unos 5 min andando (en subida) de la calle principal por donde pasa el tranvía. Haciendo la reserva en Booking me pusieron un suttle (transporte al aeropuerto incluido) y si dicen que no al principio hay que insistir. El baño turco está bien pero es más auténtico ir a los públicos, además de más barato. - Es un hotel muy bien situad... lo que la gente dice » o ,muy confortable y con un personal muy atento.El desayuno es muy bueno y también las cenas en su restaurante tienen muy buena relación calidad precio.Las vistas desde el mismo son muy bonitas.
