Seatanbul is a great place to stay! The rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned each day with fresh towels. It's safe, in a great quiet location only a 5 minute walk from Aya Sofia. Breakfast is served to the room. The rooms also have great views and balconies to enjoy the Marmara Sea. The owner is also a top guy and goes out of his way to make your stay in Istanbul memorable and to make sure you're happy. Istanbul is an amazing city and staying here is the perfect place to base yourself.

We were offered a drink on arrival and sat with the owner one night after dinner and were treated to Turkish coffee and tea which was a nice little touch. The staff were all very accommodating as you would expect for a small family run hotel/bnb. The breakfast was pleasant and consisted of tea/coffee a few cheeses, cereal and boiled eggs. We had a lovely time staying at Seatanbul apart and would definitely recommend it to our friends. Excellent breakfasts: different kinds of cheese, ham, olives, jams and chocolate paste, tasty bread, eggs and so on. Friendly staff (good manager Sahmet, he answered all our questions), restaurant with sea view, location - 5 min walk to Sultanahmet square. We had problem with door's lock, but it was fixed in an hour, fast Wi-fi, russian- speaking cleaning woman, awesome and clean rooms, free bottle of wine (it was a special offer), really good price. i enjoyed my stay in seatanbul as the reception guy is very friendly and helpful, we feel like home everyday. we offered a balcony sea view room, it's a pity that the weather was not good during my stay otherwise it must be perfect to have such sea view in room. With this price, pls do not expect a very fancy room but it's clean and good enough for a few days stay. We loved this hotel!!! The rooms are cleaned very well everyday. The beds are very comfortable with balconies overlooking the Marmara Sea. Turkish breakfast comes with room service. For the price, this is your best option in Sultanahmet. 1. Excellent location: walking distance and easy access to all main attractions of the old city. 2. Five-star hospitality: Mr. Shaban, a genuine young manager, did not spare any effort to make my stay at the hotel as convenient and enjoyable as possible. Other hotel/restaurant staff were just as friendly and polite. The rooms are very clean and great beds, with a stunning seaside view over the Marmara. The breakfast was so fresh and the people working there are very willing to go out of their way to help. Location is close to all attractions on the European side with the port to go to the Asian side within walking distance. This is the best one I stayed in Turkey. Overall the facilities are good and it is a clean hotel. People are friendly, honest, and very helpful to give you any kind of advise. The breakfast in our terrace in front of the sea is a very nice awakening! The hotel moreover is very clean. The staff were really good. The proximity to the city centre - blue mosque and other places was just too good. The Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia is in five minutes walk, also the coast of the Marmara. Location yokon and simet are the best helpful guys I met in this trip ask them for any thing any help they are there for free never ask for a single lira and they can get you the best offer for any trip simply its so friendly. The loo is slightly small, but for a budget hotel, Seatanbul is worth a shot !. The noise level between rooms and train lines can be loud at times but this is how it is for every hotel in the area. You get used to it. This is a budget-friendly hotel in one of the city's traditionally old buildings so set your expectations accordingly. Ps. The building is currently being renewed. The newly-introduced rooms are significantly better with excellent sea views and improved facilities. The rooms could do with sound insulation especially from the door but it was still very quiet and peaceful during our stay. The room is a bit small and the white tents were getting too light in the morning...moreover , maybe it was too noisy...but despite this, I recommend this hotel. Breakfast was total disappointment - but I guess this is what you get for the money you pay. Its a low budget hotel. The first three days we were put in a room where the bathroom wouldnt stop stinking - it was terrible but the second room was perfectly fine. Room size. The geyser runs out of hot water after a while. It needs to be sorted out- especially for guests staying during winter. There was this strange bad smell at the bathroom which would dissipate only after leaving on the exhaust for a while. There is no hotel sign in front of the building, which makes the hotel a little hard to be found. Also, there isn't a reception desk and this made us quite unsecure at first, because the hotel office is located in a small room. The small streets leading to the hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and after they cleaned the room on two occasions they left the door unlocked. There is no clear signs for "Seatanbul Apart Hotel" on the main road. The easiest way to locate the hotel is to look for "Seatanbul Cafe" which is owned by the same management and just next door. Quite hard to find the entrance as it wasn't the usual hotel with obvious sign and reception. We arrived late at night and had to call the hotel to find the way in. Was only bad point. Nothing value for money place go back. The unrest was of no concern. The economy room which we were assigned was a closet with no air flow or natural light they moved us twice to keep us out of that room. Internet very weak signal Rooms are little bit small. Nothing. room was changed for no reason, bath shower was leking, ac wasn't work. no hotel sign, difficult to find. the room is good and comfortable, the common area is not well maintained. monotonous and poor breakfast. no drawers for cloths, decor in room. Bathroom smelt a little musty. breakfast was very small. The is not a hotel, but apartments built mostly for local clients. There is no sign outside & you need ask the shops around. The reception is mostly empty. The bathroom was very small. صغر الغرفه ووجود حشرات في الغرفة بشكل كبير حتى ان ابني الصغير من كثر الحشرات تقول جاء له الجدري ذبحنا والله لا انصح السكن فيه إطلاقا تم إعطاء خبر الى اصحاب السكن عن الحشرات ولم يحركوا ساكنا. There are no people at the office at night, so if you had a problem during this time you might not get the suitable attention. I think for the price of the room the guests may have this service. His rooms and breakfast are poor. Small and Simple rooms- without reception. Building ( hoteh ) is old & they asked me to pay cash & I paid 90 euros & they didn't issue recipt . hope they don't charge dublicate my credit card.
