We were afraid to book this hotel, because it was way cheaper than the hotels we were booking in other cities during this trip. But the reviews were so goo, that we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The hotel is charming, the rooms are great, very nice. it is 2 minutes walking from the charming city center. The staff were exceptional.I had a sickness bug and we had to stay an extra night as I was unfit to travel,the staff could not do enough for me,e.g. Giving me Thai herbal remedies and checking on me all the time even though my husband was with me.Pai town is just perfect for us (we have been there many times) There is something for everyone. -

Location is not really on walking street, need to turn a bit to small soi, probably only 20 meters. For me this is very good location. If the resort is located directly on the walking street, during the holiday season, it might be too busy. The resort is very safe and well equipped (at least in my room). Great place. Close to night market but still quiet and protected.we took the family room which was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. Relaxing inner yard is great when you come with kids. Most important the staff, Ben and Nungning are so nice, friendly and helpful, not in order to sell you some thing but just because they are nice people.

We planned to stay one night at Pura Vida, but we felt so comfortable there that we stayed four nights in the end. The owners, a lovely couple, Dutch Aad and his wife Noi from Thailand, make a huge effort to make you feel at home in their beautiful resort. It already start's with their pickup service. You call them once you have arrived in Pai and 10 minutes later they are there. They answer every question you have about where to go and they help you to book your (day)trip. Great people and gre
