The owner of Ben's Guesthouse was amazing. He really made our stay as well as our time in Chiang Mai. There was no request that we made that he wouldn't have put the time and effort into answering or doing for us. The others who help to run the guesthouse are also wonderful.
The basic rooms were all you need when you are out exploring and they happily care for your bags if you decide on one of the many treks in the are.
The free bicycle hire is great. Although it it not situated right in the c. todo comentarios
For the first time, I booked 2 nights but I really enjoyed staying at
Ben guest house so stayed one more night. The staffs are really friendly
and kind, also they have lots of knowledge about traveling in Chiang
mai. If I go back to chiang mai, I will stay there for sure.
The staff is soooooo sweet, helpful and amazing. The nicest we have met so far tey help with your tours, activities and make everything easy for you.

The landlord is pretty nice, friendly, helpful, he speaks very good english. He provided us many information and tips. There was a quite lovely garden, good to meet with other people.
Staff is very frienly and they have plenty of activities available for rasonable prices!.

The bathroom wasnt the best ( shower wise). But besides that, its so inexpensive and great for the price!.
The water pressure is not steady,and there is something wrong with the water-heater,but it still worked when we used it.
Guy at the front desk was a little too persistent/repetitive with trying to sell us on a trip/class/whatever, but was friendly enough.
Facilities are too old, shabby rooms.
Hot shower was not working, water pressure sometimes was too low so no water in the room.

Very hot in room (stayed in 13); hotter than a normal room with fan - this actually ruined our stay.
Minor things:
Bathroom not clean
No towels, toilet paper or soap (although can get upon request)
No change of bedding or cleaning throughout stay (which might be preferable to some). Here you get what you pay for.
Free bicycles are "broken". Permanently.
Not friendly owner. Loud speech on mornings.
the main entrance closed at 8.30 pm. One have to sleep as long as the owner wishes.
