  It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled. The train station is close but nevert - We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. The most amazing aspect of the apartment is that from the balcony, we had a full view of the Matterhorn. Hiking and skiing were amazing. We can

  The wonderful warm welcome by the owners and they made our stay truly special . They even made a special Black Forest Gateau for my birthday evening ,which was made a magical occasion by the excellent meal presented beautifully by the staff. - Very friendly and welcome stuff.   We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast.   Everything! We loved our stay at Hotel Silvana and wish we would have stayed longer. The views from our balcony were absolutely breathtaking and the hotel staff and food was wonderful. - Beautiful location, conveniant for walking & skiing. Very friendly and accommodating owners/staff. Nice dining resteraunt and bright seperate breakfast room.
