  A very warm welcome by staff!! All the staff were very friendly and they spoke English (enough to understand essential things). Some of them also spoke a bit of Italian. The room was very very clean and large enough to stay comfortably, with 2 closets. The bathroom was also very clean. The breakfast was of a good quality foods, varieties of ham&cheeses, crispy croissants, fresh fruits and yogurts were delicious. We tried loc - Ther staff were very helpful, extra bed -no problems immediate, a vegetarian meal - right away no questions. changed faulty kettle immediately. Good food and everything with a smile. Even gave me ice for the cooler -- hard even to find ice in Switzerland.

  A perfect Location, very calm and still not more then 5 minutes from the center, All was great the Hotel, the Staff, the Pool and welness facility, we will go back for sure.... Only Hotel Sonne in Zermatt - Excellent service, nice rooms, very generous spa area- everything was just perfect.

  Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.

  We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast.
