the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

The location of the hotel was great! The view of the Eiger and Monch are fabulous. Our room had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family of four. The bigger room had a balcony looking out over the valley and mountains. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Great place as a home base for hiking or skiing. Absolutely everything. Our hosts were charming and helpful and nothing was too much of a problem. The accommodation was clean, beautiful views from the second storey of the chalet and well worth the money. -

The original room was very nice however the room offered for the last night (which was requested after the booking) was not very nice and we checked out on that day instead of staying. The hotel was nice and didn't charge us. However I think they should have told us that the room wasn't very nice before offering it for the same price as the other
