The landlord Susanna was a very nice lady and had a very friendly nature. She picked us up from the station and even dropped us there at the end of our stay. The appartment is situated 10 minutes from the town thus providing a quiet and pleasant situation to explore Interlaken with superb views of the Jungfrau massif. It was a truly wonderful experience staying with Susanna who treated us as friends and she could not do enough to make our stay with her very special. We`ll be back.

we were tired after being on the road for 10days in Scotland and the moment we arrived at City Chalet/Interlaken and met Matt our tiredness vanished...he made us feel comfortable and this pad is just so new and well maintained...really location is too good!

It is a wonderful hotel at a wonderful place. The room is very tidy and clean and spacious. They offer the free bus pass within the town and 2 special coins each person per day that can be used on the automatic washing machine & drier or for two cups of hot drinks like some kinds of coffee and tea and even chocolate drink.

One of the best backpacking/ low budget places to stay. Location is great (close to everything - 2 min walk to seriously...everything), but is also very quiet. Staff are helpful (and even remember if you've been there before). facilities are great for a hostel and the breakfast is better than some 4/5 star hotels offer. Heaps of things to do locally in all types of weather. And they also have washing machines and driers (a rare commodity in not only Interlaken, but a lot of Swiss towns). S

Amazing outside whirpool, nice staff, excellent food. On arrival reception offered to pay for upgrade to better room with Jungfrau view for 80 CHF/day, we agreed, then offered to upgrade to Junior suite for 200 CHF, we refused. Then they upgareded us to Junior suite free of charge. It was pleasant. - Very nice hotel.

Excellent help from the owners. We went to a local ski park in the morning after checkout. And then had to rush to catch the train in the afternoon. The owners, very helpfully he brought our 2 big suitcases with 2 smaller cabin bags to both train stations. This is great service indeed and beyond expectations.

The apartment was perfect for our family group. We stayed for a week and
never got tired of the excellent views from the balcony! The breakfast
was a short walk away but this didn't matter as it was excellent
quality. It was also really useful to have a washing machine and kitchen
facilities so we saved a lot of money there.
