I was a bit worried before coming here after reading some negative reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable, clean and exceptionally well run hostel that was centrally located and easy to find. I couldn't really have asked for more. Even got a free transport card for duration of stay. Great value for what is perhaps the world's most expensive city.todo comentarios
The hostel was great, very modern. The food for breakfast was good, and for dinner they gave you plenty to fill your belly. The showers were clean and neverd smelled funny or anything.
The lockers are big enough to fit all your stuff and they are totally safe.
It's really near (2 blocks away) from Butini Tram Station so it can take you anywhere.
It's a comfortable place to stay one night, the urban is quite and
the lobby is comfortable and with wifi.Staff is friendly and can speak
good engilish, breakfast is good.Outside of each room there are storing
cabinet with lock. Have power plug at each bed.
The security of the hostel was fantastic - swipe cards for the rooms, bathrooms and individual lockers. Lockers were outside the room which was great for disturbing others in the dorm. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was hearty for an included meal.
The hostel has great location, near the train station, easy to find and also close to the lake. We had a 6-bed room, it's comfortable, but a little nosy in the morning. The staff are very helpful and very nice. We really had a great stay.
Comfortable beds in spacy rooms, a lot of common areas you can spent your time and make new friendships. Security's first! You cant have access anywhere without your personal magnetic keycard. From bedrooms to bathrooms and common areas.
The wi-fi signals were good.Staff excellent and very friendly.The breakfast was very good and the location excellent, a ten min walk from the station & just a few mins to the lakeside.Tea coffee soft drink machines in the lobby.
A hostel can be comfortable, clean, well-heated, well-maintained. YHG is one example.
Food was fair, staff was excellent, guests were also great. respectful, friendly, civilized. Nothing disturbing. Recommend.
Honestly, I like everything about the Hostel. From the staff, facilities, atmosphere to the environment. You can stroll around the seaside and relax in the park both day time and evening. Very pleasurable!.

I really like the location which is really easy to find and not far from the CFF Gare de Geneve. The room is fine and bathroom is ok. Breakfast is excellent!.
Everything except the staff. Shower rooms are great, there are lockers where you can store your stuff securely. The hostel is really close to the Leman lake.
As far as hostels go, this is an okay place, not exactly cheerful interior but will do for few nights in expensive Geneva
all necessary facilities are there.
I liked the kitchen that is hidden in the downstairs floor, you can cook
and microwave your meals. Didn't saw this type of kitchen in other
Youth Hostels.

The one thing I didn't like was that on the information about the hostel it says that they have a computer center when in reality they don't. I really needed to have computer access because I wouldn't bring my own and it was until I got there that they told me that that "phase of the hostel" was still due.
We can not get the wifi at rooms,there is not very much power plug in
the lobby. No chair and table in the room, only with beds, the door
does't work well, always creat loud noise.
I am early 30s and have been lucky enough to stay in hundreds of hostels over the years. This had to be on of the most sterile hostels I have ever stayed in. It was typical hostelling International crowd and the place had little or no atmosphere. The rooms were incredibly stuffy - and I stayed in September so I hate to think what its like in summer. We had the window open as far as it would go by it was stifling. Not helped by two smelly room mates!.
Bathrooms were not so clean at morning while decent at night.
The breakfast hours can be extended upto 10 am from the present 9 am.
A little cold in the room, had heater up all the way but had to wear a sweatshirt and hat on top of PJs when I went to bed.
Check out at 10am and door's lockers is so loud!even if you trying to close it carefully.

Couldn't get my staff from the safety box. The card doesn't work
after 10.00 (check-out time) though it was 10.05. Had to go to the
reception to unlock it.
Chaos because of renovations in front lobby but every effort was made to carry on and keep calm. More toilet cubicles needed in each dormitory floor.
when I check in room，the receptionist alway talked with other people，I was waitting for so long time.One come
to borrow the plug，one change the room number，one return the room card，two people need wifi code，one ask for question about passport，two people ask where is kitchen，then receptionist talk with them and stop checking in for almost seven or eight times.How are you feeling about that，Sir？.

Three bunker beds, 6 people (could be all strangers if you are traveling solo like me) and the traffic could be a bit hectic so when it comes to time for bed best to bring your own ear buds (for the snoring concert :-)).
An alarm going off at 2am telling us all to leave quietly and calmly which continued for 15 mins but everyone who went out came back saying it was a false alarm!.

Every floor has only one lady bathroom and toilet . Sometimes there was a cueue.
Very borring use of the keycard-it is needed for the room, for the lockers (which are in the front of the room in the hallway) and even for the toilet! No tables,chairs or wardrobes in the room.
