Hotel Room was above expectations, comfortable bed - nicely designed so
that it feels special. Rain shower was a bonus. The breakfast was large
and had late hours. You could eat outside on the lovely patio in a
variety of comfortable seating. The rooftop terrace was really beautiful
and we enjoyed an afternoon on the loungers in the sun.
Free ferry provided easy and frequent city access.

Despite being declared as a "youth hostel", this is definitely more like a small simple hotel with private room and own bathroom.
Very friendly and cozy with care taken to details. You can see it is run by "Strandflickorna" (=beach girls in Swedish).
Excellent value for price. -

The convenient location, the breakfast, staff were very helpful, that we were able to book in early, and leave our luggage the day we left, as our train did not depart until late in the day.

excellent breakfast open til 10.30 on Sunday, much appreciated. Very helpful staff who spoke excellent English, we could put bus cards onto the hotel bill etc. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked good and other people did use them a lot. The view! Lovely view of the water from my room on the 10th floor.
Small amenities like the coffee machine - after staying in several places without anything like this, which used to be fairly standard, it was a nice touch.
Very comfortable, quiet.
Individual fan available (to combat how hot the room was)

The bed was extremely comfortable; blinds made the room very dark for sleeping; the breakfast buffet was excellent and machine cappuccino was good. The view from our room on the 9th floor was great.

I loved everything about this hotel! Lovely red brick building set in beautiful surroundings, immaculate room with cutting edge interior design and great attention to detail, excellent level of service and unbeatable lakeside location. They had upgraded our room free of charge which was a nice surprise. I certainly hope to visit this hotel again.

We stayed in a huge corner family room and enjed every minute. 20 minutes away from Central Gothenburg.

They take maximum advantage of the hotel location on the rocks with
varied seating and tables in every nook, carnny, and perch. This,
combined with the variety of bedrooms (we had two) makes for interest in

Eclectic & period suited decor of hotel. Large deck with stunning view. Number of outdoor sitting areas. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent location near beach,ferries, national park, shops etc. Fantastic breakfast & availability of light dinners.

We stayed 2 nights in the cottage, clean and tidy. I think it what a visit again.
