Hotel positioned centrally in town, with free parking nearby. Free wi-fi. Staff very friendly, clearly a well used family hotel, lots of young children.
Reception area very tired looking but room, though small, was clean and recently refurbished.
No safe in room. Breakfast OK.

Lovely mansion converted into a small hotel with a lot of character. There is plenty of parking space for hotel guests. Excellent service at a very charming chateau. It is super romantic with antic furniture a nice salon and a cozy library! There is no TV in the room but a fireplace.
You can enjoy the beautiful garden which offer nice little seating possibilities so you can write your post cards or enjoy a good glas of wine.

Hotel & restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well maintained. We ate several meals here and were very pleased with the high quality and service received. We would recommend the Allegarden to anyone wishing to stay in the Oland/Kalmar area. -

The whole idea - a hotel as a prison - was wonderful! The style was exciting, with strong fences in windows and historic prison pictures in the corridors. A great way to revive the history of the building and bring it to modern use!
Also, the hotel is just across a train station / bus terminal, making it very easy to reach. -
