It´s a purpose built hostel, not a converted apartment building. The
rooms are very spacious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and very nice
(I can speak spanish, so I can't vouch for their foreign language
skills). There was a small leak on the toilet flush (it can happen in

Superb location and very spacious room. Felt newly decorated and the
word 'clean' simply can't describe the sparkling perfection
of the rooms and common areas. The photos simply don't do justice to
the hotel/hostal - common areas are beautiful and the building
reminded us of a Moroccan riad.

Very clean and very quiet. Close to everything. Very well priced and parking is 12 euro but worth it as Granada is hard to find something on street. The palace close by is amazing BUT unfortunetly we couldnt get in, we started queing at 8am to get a ticket and by 9.30 they had sold out for the day,,,get one the day before and don,t be dissapointed

Great location. You can easily walk to all places, even to Alhambra.
The hostal is situated in a very nice and clean building.
There is a parking slot in the same building, for a reasonable price (12 euros per day).

Excelente en todos los aspectos: moderno, con estilo, limpio, grandes
espacios, y un patio con barbacoa..para una romantica velada. Sin duda
recomendable a todo aquel que se quiera acercar a Granada sin tener que
dejar el coche en el centro. Los monumentos de Granada están a 5 minutos

Great place We were welcomed like long lost friends. Delia was wonderful. Tried hard to help us with our spanish, we tried hard to try. Altogether a very relaxing stay. Rooms spotless. Breakfasts tostada en tomate. Bliss, daddys own tomatoes!! A little noisy at night, but hey this is Espana. Nothing starts till 10pm !!

Great location, fantastic design, extremely helfpul staff. The lounge on
the 4th floor is very cozy and we stayed there one evening sipping wine
and simply looking at the city in front of us. Rooms are very
comfortable, even though the bathroom is very little. We got a beautiful
room on the 1st floor with a view to Calle de las Navas - even though it
was slightly too noisy in the night (in summer time it must be even
worse...) we really loved being able to simply observe the
'life' of the stree

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hostal Palomares. The owner was one of the nicest people we have met . He even came out onto the street to introduce himself and to welcome us to his hotel. Everything cleaned and very comfortable. Complete continental breakfast, very tasty! You have a wonderful swimmingpool, very comfortable bed. We payed half price, but it values also full price. It has small white Apartments. it is much more a 4 stras hotel than 3 stars.

Excellent location. Service-minded staff. Clean. Good value. Although we had a room towards the street we had no problems with noise, but I guess it depends on when you go to bed. People are out on the street outside until 1, but after that we found it calm.
If you park in the "La paz" parking you need to ask for a stamp on the parking ticket to

The owner lives onsite. She was friendly & very helpful - if she was not actually in the reception and we needed anything we just had to knock on her door. She even allowed us to leave our luggage with her, after we had checked out, so that we could go sight-seeing. The hostal was centrally located - near the Cathedral & within metres of restaurants. There was parking nearby.
