Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke very good English and put themselves out to help in any way they could. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent even though not located in individual rooms, with complementary fresh milk and bottled watered. Air conditioning. The hosts were lovely and the upstairs lounge and dining room was very inviting. Unfortunately when we stayed there were some very noisy children, however the hotel and staff were extremely friendly and more than made up for the noisy kids. We would recommend this hotel especially the upstairs area and the dinner/breakfast

The room was very comfortable, clean and with enough space, most important of all it was quiet. The bed was king size bed and with very interesting decoration. Location was so convenient, we went everywhere on foot.high standard of cleanliness and general eye for detail. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again. La Rectoria is recently renovated by hosts Roy and Goretti. It retains its charm and history but is transformed into a comfortable and stylish retreat. We would have extended our stay if room had been available.
Roy is a very good chef offering a menu of the day.
The hotel is right on the via verde walking/cycling track and there is plenty to do in the local area.
