A very good experience: Basically a student dorm that is rented out
during the summer. It's clean, comfortable and handy for the town
center if you don't mind taking a bus (the #5 or 25, 1.60 euros
each way).

Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.

Location within walking minutes to bus station was very convenient. City was small enough and transportation rail i front of hotel made up for isolated location. The cleanliness was super! My toes didnt curl up in horror or trepidation while i was using the shower. -

Estuve 2 días en Vitoria en una habitación individual. Es una Residencia
Universitaria, en Agosto casi vacía, por lo que resulta muy tranquilo.
La habitación es como un pequeño apartamento. Cocina con pequeña nevera,

The room is inside a student residence and looked brand new. It was spacious with a nice bathroom and there was also a cooking area with kitchen utensils. Close to train station and old town. Lovely helpful man on reception that spoke English and gave us information. Also moved us to a different room on request. Free wifi. This place is uni halls of residence, so rooms are small with single beds, but you have bathroom with shower +clothes line over it, and little kithchen area with cooking hob, microwave and fridge. We really value the small things like being able to make a cup of tea when you want one.

The rooms were clean and lockers were a good size, big enough for my 85L backpack. The laundry facilities were great (though having to wait 1 hour for the dryer to finish was a pain if you don't expect it). The shower was a good size with room to keep clothes inside (just bring a bag as there were no hooks). Great location, close to a metro statio

This place works out perfectly for staying in San Sebastian. Parking is
5 euros and is easy and the location of the hotel is not too far from
the center. There are buses if you don't feel like walking. Although
basic, the room was comfortable and even had a kitchenette. -

Had a good kitchen facility if we had known restaurant would be closed. Vending machine good. Price good but for a hotel so far off beaten track you need to be prepared. Lovely views. -
Everything looks new and very clean! Bedsheets etc is all like in a good hotel.
A lot of space. Green territory. Huge space for breakfast. Ideal for families.

The hostel offers all needed, for the price paid! We were allowed to check in earlier without questioning (I suppose because we didn't travel at the peak season), other bonuses were the towels and wi-fi. -
