  The hotel was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the (free!) wellness, which was just wonderful. The breakfast/dinner buffet was great, with plenty of choice available, and two live cooking stations. The staff was friendly, except for one grumpy man with glasses behind the reception. Hotel Escorial will be our first choice for future trips to Gran Canaria, and we'll defin - The Restaurant and Bar staff are particularly friendly and genuine. Breakfast and Lunch was very good especially for a three star hotel. The location is central to Playa del Ingles. This hotel also has an excellent roof terrace with a Jacuzzi and a wellness centre with a 'dead sea' pool, great for floating about in.

  All the staff where extra nice and helpful, always smiling and trying to make you feel comfortable. The hotel was in nice location, just a few minutes walk to both the ocean and yumbo center.   Apart from the hotel which we LOVED, we liked the friendly locals. We rented bikes and cycled around and we were amazed by how nice all drivers were. Also when walking. Very good food in all restaurants we tried.
