The hotel is right in the middle of any place you want to see and do. The room was so comfortable, big, extremely clean and beautiful. It was nice not being right on top of the noisy tourist areas, to be a little out of it made us feel more a part of the city and locals, yet, it was near all the touristic locations.

Nice, bright and clean room on the 5th floor, loved the little balcony facing the street. Quiet area, but still close to everything.
Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left. We could come and go as we pleased. -

This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely. The location is very close to San Sebastian RENFE station. It is also couple of minute to the beach.
It is very clean and almost new since the owner just repaint the pension.
It is definetiley worth place to stay and if I am going to san sebastian, I will definitely come back to this pension

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony, which was great. The accommodation was in an excellent location, very close to the beach, and walking distance to all of the sights of San Sebastian. The staff were extremely helpful. I was feeling unwell the day after we arrived, and the lady at the Pension directed us to a very good medical centre. The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

I liked the unique exposed beams and the stone in the room. I liked that they had ear plugs in the room for you in case it got too loud at night to sleep. But the noise is only from outside, you could not hear anything beside you or above you. Noise is not a factor in just this hotel, because the entire area is full of hotels and restaurants, so people are walking and talking throughout the streets. It is very centrally located and convenient.
