staff. Staff on site does not speak english but reception that was
called on the phone does speak english. Very quiet studio in the back
courtyard. Shopping groveries, banking etc. directly in front the
studio. Free service to leave baggage with reception at Plaza Mayor was
offered

The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night). We were even allowed to hang out at the hostel and use the wifi and bathrooms! -

El personal ha sido muy amable, lo que mas me ha gustado ha sido la limpieza y sobretodo la calefacción que estaba a todo gas, por ello ha sido una estancia muy confortable. -

Walking distance to Puerta del Sol and metro. There's restaurant and a convenient store just downstairs. The room was air-conditioned, which is a nice escape from Madrid's hot summer. -

The staff was very kind and helpful, and the hostel has an excellent location in the center, just next to Plaza Mayor, 5 minutes from Palacio Real and in front of the hostel there is the market San Miguel which has one of the best offer of foods. -

The location is fantastic, you can walk outside, cross a small road and walk into a market! The metro is 5/10 minutes walk away and there is loads of places to eat. The staff are lovely, carried my bags for me and couldnt help you enough. The price is great for what you get! this was my 3rd stay in this hostel and I spoke to others staying in other hostels paying more and they wernt anywhere near as good!
