La Casa Gran is located on a chic boulevard in the centre of Barcelona with easy access to all the city centre. The accomodation is a small number of private en-suite rooms in a first floor grand apartment building, very stylish with high ceilings and elegant tasteful decor. Ca La Maria was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. This is a brand new B&B that is designed with elegant, modern art throughout. It's at a great location, very central and in walking distance to many of the city's sites.The B&B is run by Maria who is an excellent hostess. She pays attention to fine detail and really made my stay worthwhile. We absolutely loved everything about Circa 1905 - the magnificent building with its entry doors, marble staircase, old fashioned lift and a superb interior that had a rich, old world ambience yet still,offered all the modern conveniences that give a place that "luxury feel". A wonderfully warm welcome from accommodating hosts in a modern and cosy apartment.
We were 30 minutes late due to getting totally lost in the roads around the apartment, but our host was still waiting patiently for us.
Tip: print out the map that is on the website of the B&B, it really helped. The road starts and stops in different places.

Staff is supportive and friendly. Hotel is located on hill, thus 10-15 min you will have to incline, although this is rewarded with fantastic view on Barcelona. All main points of interest for tourists are located on nearby metro line, it take no more than 30 min to reach them. Good breakfasts with fresh crossaint, baguette, cheese and meat. There is also cereal, juice and coffee. In general very pleasant family type little hotel. Our next stay will be definetely in Anita's.
