The location was great, but it was a 5-8 minute walk from where we had to pick up our key, so it was a haul because we had a TON of luggage and 2 people in their 70s.   Location was the best right in the gothic area in the Placa San Jaume square. I loved the attic room . Very spacious and the terrace was to die for. Bed was a wee bit hard but not an issue. Appt was clean and much larger for our family than the hotel rooms we have used before. Children enjoyed the space and able to relax so much more. Plently of small tapa'sbars near by.   Location is excellent: the center of old city. You need less than 5 minutes to go to Rambla (with metro station), port, Catalunia square. Appartments were clean (we took two bedroom appartments), kitchen had everything that we need. It's small, but large terrace has table that we used for our meals. But be prerared ;) - Perfect location in the middle of the Old Town, there are two subway stations nearby (Liceu, Jaume I) from which the whole city could be reached very quickly.
