The location is superb - it's one block from the Church on Spilled Blood, and the Main Street Nevsky Prospekt, and 5 min walk to the Hermitage / Winter Palace.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and keep the hostel very clean.
We liked it so much (and found so much to do in St Petersburg) that we stayed a second week, and have already recommended it to other travellers. Thanks Natasha, Lena and Jane!

Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks! Excellent location, practically next door to the Hermitage. Very pleased to see there is a lift as it's on 6th floor! -

Location: in the very centre, but inside a quiet yard, not in the first line of houses. Standing at the gates you can see both your hotel and the Kazansky cathedral - one of the most beatiful in the city. You don't need to use transport at all, unless going to suburbs.
